摘要

The psychoanalytic interactional method (PiM) is one of three approaches applied within the Göttingen model of group psychotherapy, depending on the participants’ level of structural integration. Originally developed as a therapy of developmental disturbances of personality, so-called structural disorders, it has since been established in the individual setting and in related disciplines, particularly in educational contexts. Structural limitations primarily manifest in interpersonal difficulties, which can be particularly well recognized and addressed within a group therapy setting. In PiM the therapist facilitates the emergence and gradual modification of these interpersonal difficulties by a responsive, resonant, and reciprocity-oriented stance within the group process. Various empirical studies have demonstrated the efficacy of this approach in the treatment of Cluster B personality disorders in adults and adolescents.
