Integrative (teil-)stationäre Psychotherapie

  • Thomas Bolm

摘要

Day hospital and inpatient treatment is an integrative process. It includes verbal and nonverbal, individual and group therapies, the setting transitions to the daily routine and also different therapy schools, such as psychodynamic, behavioral therapeutic, trauma-specific or systemic procedures. The challenge consists of ensuring that these components not only optimally complement each other but also together result in more than the sum of the components. When the integration of methods is positively assessed by patients and personnel, this is in their experience mostly closely related to successful outcomes. This article highlights the factors which contribute to a successful integration of the various treatment components, especially the joint mentalization and an inherent open, inquisitive and appreciative communication. The impact of this integration process on the treatment outcome should be the subject of further research activities.
