Bedarfe und klinische Versorgung Betroffener von SED-Unrecht
摘要
Since the German reunification and the end of the German Democratic Republic, the poor clinical care situation of the victims of injustice by the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) has been repeatedly criticized and calls for improvement were made. The following article provides an overview of the existing clinically relevant literature on the care situation on this topic. Problems of definitions and the question of the clinical specifics of the target group are first discussed. This is followed by an overview of current psychosocial care in the “reprocessing landscape” and a presentation of further findings from the clinical literature. There is evidence that victims of SED injustice are primarily people with multiple health and social burdens, for whom trauma-related barriers to utilization, competence barriers among practitioners and structural problems in the healthcare system become manifest. Questions of individual suffering are also inextricably linked with questions of political discourse and the practice of compensation regulations. On closer inspection, however, it is clear that basic clinical and healthcare research are currently reaching their limits in this area and many questions must remain unanswered for the time being.
