摘要

Psychotherapy is a collaborative and individualized treatment for promotion of mental health, which continues to develop in (post)modern societies. Psychotherapy therapy success encompasses a wide spectrum of criteria, including reduction of symptom-related distress and promotion of well-being, personal values, strengths and psychosocial participation. There is extensive meta-analytic evidence that legitimate psychotherapy works remarkably well and stably for the most frequent mental disorders and their comorbidities. In addition, there is a large body of meta-analytic evidence for the potential relevance of transtheoretical relational and active principles. Based on the presentation of this continuously evolving evidence-based consolidation process, conclusions for the future training and continuing education of transtheoretically oriented psychotherapy are drawn. The article concludes with more general directions for future goals in transtheoretical psychotherapy.
