摘要

Nowadays, filler injection is one of the most popular methods to correct TT deformity and many fillers are available for this purpose. Hyaluronic acid is one of the most employed and certainly one of the most studied among all the injectable materials. Its chemical characteristics and rheology are widely investigated in the present literature. However, due to its rheology, the risk of puffy appearance should be considered, especially in the presence of large amount of injected filler. Immediate post-treatment photographic control couldn’t be an appropriate evaluation of the real result because the osmotic activity of the filler itself could render the correction unstable over time. What parameters were included in the evaluation of complications? The comparison of late intermittent edema consequent to the treatment, meight escape the photographic evaluation.
