Letter on “From Posts to Perceptions: Sentiment and Psychological Analysis of Aesthetic Enhancements on Social Media”
摘要
This Letter comments on the study by Rahman et al., which investigates the psychological and emotional impact of aesthetic enhancements as reflected in social media sentiment. The analysis highlights the dual role of social platforms in both enhancing self-esteem and reinforcing harmful beauty standards. By employing machine learning models to analyze age, gender, seasonal, and geographical differences, the study offers valuable insights for clinicians and mental health professionals. Further integration of qualitative approaches and translation of algorithmic findings into practical interventions are recommended to support healthier aesthetic ideals in the digital era.
