Primary gastroesophageal intussusception diagnosed with imaging
摘要
Acute gastroesophageal intussusception is a rare condition in which the stomach telescopes into the lower esophagus. We report a case of primary gastroesophageal intussusception in a pediatric patient who presented with a sudden onset of a choking episode followed by respiratory distress. The diagnosis was made solely through imaging, and the patient had a complete recovery with conservative management. This case represents one of the few reported instances of primary gastroesophageal intussusception in a child diagnosed exclusively through imaging and treated conservatively.
