Space ventilation without additional energy by using the kinetic energies of exhaust gases with a venturi device and the “Venturi Effect”
摘要
The combustion gases coming from combustion systems are discharged into the atmosphere by increasing their pressure through chimneys and exhaust fans. It has studied the ventilation of the spaces by using the kinetic energies of the combustion gases without using additional energy with the venturi system in this research. The thermal power of the system, the type of fuel, and the characteristics of the exhaust system affect the amount of kinetic energy of the exhaust gases. The research hypothesizes that “space ventilation can be done by using the kinetic energy of the combustion gases and without using additional energy with the venturi application”. The venturi dimensions, position, and air pipe positions were kept constant. Experimental data were obtained by changing the airflow (speed, pressure) by the fan in the experiments. As a result of the experiments, It has been observed that an average of 29.29% of the blown air amount can be drawn from the spaces. It has been determined that the friction losses due to the venturi used are around 2.98% on average and after deducting the friction losses, the energy used by the fan can be saved at an average of 23.71%.
