<p>Mandarin species, including hybrids, are numerous. Satsuma, Robinson, Fremont, and Clementine, among others, are the most known mandarin cultivars in the world. “Nova” mandarin cultivar is a less known cultivar of citrus species that has not been studied extensively in Greece or around the globe. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to determine pH, sugars, antioxidant activity, ascorbic acid content, caffeic acid content, acidity, total carotenoids, total phenolic content, and color parameters, as well as to estimate the geographical origin of Nova mandarin juice from Agrinio, Arta, Argos, and Igoumenitsa. Multivariate analysis of variance showed that acidity (0.57–1.02%), antioxidant activity (76.01–82.59%), total phenolic content (610.2–801.7&#xa0;mg GAE/L), caffeic acid content (110.9 to 197.9&#xa0;mg/L) and yellow color tone (58.99–71.01) varied significantly (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.05) according to geographical origin of juice samples. Linear discriminant analysis in a small sample set, consisted of 12 mandarin juice samples, showed that the geographical origin could be satisfactorily estimated based on the 91.4% prediction rate. Bootstrapping was then applied to simulate data in a bigger sample set (N = 2187), to examine whether the previous prediction rate could be drastically differentiated. Results showed that increasing the number of samples by the following algorithm 3<sup>n</sup> (n = 1, 2,…7), per group of each region, resulted in a 100% classification rate, improving the initial rate by only 8.6%. The hypothesis of the present study supports the rapid methods of geographical origin indication of Nova mandarin juice.</p>
