<p>This paper proposes a hybrid approach for enhancing power quality (PQ) in bridgeless buck–boost converter (BBC) fed brushless DC (BLDC) motor drives. The proposed method integrates Pelican Optimization Algorithm (POA) and the Aquila Optimizer (AO). The POA is used to enhance the AO method, and thus it is termed Enhanced AO (EAO). The EAO is utilized to generate control signals for pulse width modulation (PWM) by optimally tuning the converter parameters. The main goal is to enhance the power quality and reduce total harmonic distortion (THD). The proposed model is simulated using MATLAB and its performance is contrasted with present methods. The proposed technique achieves a THD of 1.8% which is lower than the existing methods. From the results, it can be said that the proposed method improves the BLDC motor drive’s power quality by reducing its THD.</p>

摘要
