Integrating hybrid artificial ecosystem with P&O MPPT for enhanced fuel cell performance in microgrid systems

This paper introduces a novel Hybrid Artificial Eco System Plus P&O MPPT algorithm tailored for microgrid applications, filling a significant research gap in fuel cell MPPT. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing MPPT techniques, our work reveals specific strengths and weaknesses, emphasizing the critical need for an enhanced solution. By leveraging the advantages of an artificial eco system approach combined with the established P&O technique, our proposed algorithm achieves remarkable improvements. For example, compared to traditional methods, our algorithm reduces the time-to-reach MPPT by 20%, enhances fast tracking performance by 15%, and improves system stability by 10%. The Hybrid Artificial Eco System Plus P&O MPPT algorithm exhibits promising outcomes in mitigating existing technique limitations and elevating fuel cell system performance. Through extensive simulation investigations, we validate its efficacy and fine-tune its implementation for practical, real-world applications. This innovative algorithm not only addresses the prevalent research gap in fuel cell MPPT but also paves the way for significant advancements in fuel cell technology.
