Opportunistic maintenance strategy for wind turbine systems based on fault correlation and multi-level maintenance theory

摘要

Due to the current challenges of low maintenance efficiency, difficulty in predicting maintenance timing, and high maintenance costs for wind turbine systems, an opportunistic maintenance plan is proposed. This plan considers multi-level maintenance theories and fault correlation for wind turbine systems. First, a reliability model is established, analyzing the fault transmission process of each subsystem. From this, a preventive maintenance model is developed. Second, an optimization model for scheduled maintenance is introduced, incorporating multi-level maintenance theory and importance theory. The butterfly optimization algorithm is then used to reduce the average maintenance cost. Finally, the proposed model is compared with other models for opportunistic and preventive maintenance. The findings show how effectively the proposed approach reduces downtime and average maintenance costs for wind turbines.
