摘要

A new switched capacitor-based 13-level multi-gain multilevel inverter (MGMLI) topology is proposed with reduced switches and voltage stress. The proposed MGMLI topology contains 14 switches, one diode, and three capacitors to synthesize a 13-level voltage waveform with a gain of six. The prominent features of MGMLI are its least-cost function, the low-voltage stress on the switches, and capacitors’ inherent ability to self-balance their voltage. An in-depth analysis of the circuit, the operation of different voltage levels, and the modulation scheme are presented. Comparative studies have been assessed with the existing latest topologies to prove the advantages of the suggested MGMLI. In conclusion, both the simulation and experimental results confirmed the feasibility and dynamic performance under varying loading circumstances.
