摘要

In this paper, a V-shaped leakage-flux-controllable permanent magnet (LFC-PM) motor has been investigated, significantly enhancing torque performance and flux adjustment capabilities through the strategic design of multi-functional flux barriers. To adapt the motor to varying working conditions and enable flexible flux adjustment, thereby broadening the speed range and increasing output torque, three distinct magnetic barriers—a flux isolation barrier to segregate magnetic flux, a flux leakage barrier to minimize flux leakage, and a flux focusing barrier to concentrate the flux in critical areas—have been innovatively designed. These barriers are strategically positioned to reshape the magnetic flux path. Through targeted optimization of these barriers, the motor’s output torque has been significantly enhanced, and its flux adjustment capabilities have been made more flexible, facilitating a wider range of flux adjustments. Both simulation and experimental verifications confirm the practical effectiveness of the flux barrier design and optimization in the LFC-PM motor, presenting a novel and efficient approach for enhancing the torque performance of LFC-PM motors.
