Presenting an optimal energy management model in microgrids using APSO algorithm

摘要

In order to investigate how uncertainty affects microgrid operation, a fundamental stochastic structure is provided in this research. The proposed random structure simulates load uncertainty errors, market pricing, and the manufacture of wind turbines and solar cells. There are two primary stages to the random structure that is suggested. Using the roulette wheel method and each random variable's probability density function, many scenarios are created in the first phase. Then the most likely scenarios are selected using the scenario reduction process. Using the above method, the random problem becomes several definite problems with different possibilities. In the second phase, any of the specific issues generated in the first phase may be solved with the novel and effective adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) technique. A microgrid with various sources, including a wind turbine, solar cell, microturbine, fuel cell, and energy storage device, is taken into consideration in order to assess the effectiveness of the suggested algorithm. The outcomes of the APSO algorithm are then compared with those of other algorithms.
