Praktische forensische Todeszeitschätzung am Fundort im frühen postmortalen Intervall
摘要
The forensic estimation of the time of death in the early postmortem interval helps to narrow down a probable time interval during which death occurred. The so-called complex/compound method is used, which consists of the temperature-based nomogram method, early postmortem changes, and the testing of supravital reactions. By integrating the temperature-based interval and the nontemperature-based methods, the interval can be further narrowed down. Due to the data basis of the methods and recent publications, a cautious interpretation of the results is advisable.
