This document analyzes the relaxation of elastomeric O-ring seals in static axial assemblies, with a focus on its impact on sealing performance. Elastomeric O-ring seals are commonly used to ensure reliable sealing in various industrial applications. The study takes into account real-world assembly conditions, such as clamping load and fluid pressure. The objective is to understand how O-ring relaxation can affect performance and to identify preventive measures to ensure optimal and long-lasting sealing.
