This study underscores a consolidated theoretical framework and control strategies for quality management in remanufacturing processes, aiming to enhancing the market competitiveness positioning of remanufactured products. A comprehensive review of existing knowledge outlines a detailed design paradigm for quality control tailored specifically to the unique processes of remanufacturing, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and reassembly. The paper demonstrates the effectiveness of these strategies in varying operational contexts and pinpoints current challenges and issues in quality control. It advocates for sophisticated, intelligent theoretical design methodologies, synergistic optimization of process elements, improved identification and management of quality parameters, and the inception of advanced intelligent assembly quality control systems. By offering a comprehensive perspective and setting a directed research agenda, this article presents a comprehensive perspective and establishes a targeted research agenda, providing critical insights for academic researchers and industry professionals striving to advance intelligent quality management in remanufacturing.</p>
