<p>Industry 4.0 is a concept that means the integration of digital technologies into the manufacturing process. However, there is a lack of understanding of how companies implement these technologies. For this, we aim to understand the adoption patterns of Industry 4.0 technologies. This article aims to comprehensively review existing studies related to the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies into quality management systems uncover current research trends, distill key research topics, and identify future research areas. A literature review covering over 7600 studies was conducted using databases such as Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Scopus, following the PRISMA method to ensure a rigorous approach. The articles were classified into areas like data management, Quality 4.0 implementation, manufacturing and supply chain technology, and implementation of technology. The study also evaluates the advantages and limitations of various Industry 4.0 technologies and performs a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. By extracting the results of the literature review, we identify the technologies and explored the future of integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into quality management systems, thus giving the definition of quality 4.0 and its four characteristics. Building on these insights, we propose a comprehensive four-dimensional Quality 4.0 framework. This study supports professionals, academicians, and researchers with methods and perspectives to understand and adopt the digital transition in quality management. It aims to optimize the customer experience, boost the innovation capacity of companies, and strengthen their competitive position in the context of the evolution towards Industry 4.0.</p>
