摘要

Extrusion cutting technology offers significant advantages by minimizing material waste, increasing productivity, and improving the mechanical and thermal properties of fins. Manufactured metal fins enhance heat transfer by increasing surface area, thereby improving the efficiency of the heat dissipation and transfer process. In recent years, extrusion cutting technology has been applied to machining, electronic heat sinks, and high-performance heat exchangers. The technology has brought great economic and technical benefits, enabling an increase in material utilization of about 40%, an increase in production efficiency of about 55%, and an increase in the heat dissipation performance of fins of about 20%. Firstly, this paper systematically reviews the process research of fin preparation by cutting method and discusses five aspects: slitting extrusion process, cutting extrusion process, planing process, plowing extrusion process, and spinning process. Secondly, the research on the characteristics and preparation methods of metal fins is summarized, including metal structure fins, the diversity of complex fin structures, and the optimization of heat transfer properties of metal fins by cutting process. Finally, the mechanism analysis of extrusion cutting technology in fin preparation is summarized to further prospect the development trend and application scenario of extrusion cutting technology in machining.
