Application of electroplastic effect in mechanical processing

摘要

The electroplastic effect leads to an increase in the plasticity of the material and a decrease in resistance to deformation. In recent years, the electroplastic effect has achieved remarkable results in machining. It is significant in solving the problems of poor material forming quality, low productivity, and complex production processes in traditional machining. Firstly, the basic theory of electroplasticity is summarized. Four aspects are studied: pure electroplastic effect, joule heating effect, skin effect, and magnetic compression effect. Secondly, electroplastic plastic processing is summarized, including electroplastic bulk forming, electroplastic sheet progressive molding, electroplastic friction stir welding, electro-superplastic welding, and electroplastic rolling forming. Research progress and electrical plastic cutting processing are summarized, including electroplastic milling, electroplastic turning, and electroplastic drilling. Finally, the multi-energy field coupling machining technology is summarized, and the development trend and application prospect of the electroplastic effect in the machining field has prospected.
