摘要

The spatial correlation network of digital industry has become a new driving factor in the manufacturing industry transfer. Based on panel data of 262 cities in China from 2010 to 2020, this paper measures the digital industry network node centrality. We further empirically test the impact of the digital industry spatial correlation network node centrality on manufacturing industry transfer. The results show that: (1) Digital industry spatial correlation network node centrality significantly promotes the inter-city manufacturing industry transfer. The result remains valid after robustness tests. (2) In resource-based cities, high transport accessibility cities, peripheral cities, and old industrial base cities, the effect of digital industry node centrality on manufacturing industry transfer is more significant. (3) The impact mechanisms show that the digital industry spatial correlation network node centrality promotes the inter-city manufacturing industry transfer through the local market size mechanism and urban productivity mechanism. This paper not only expands the digital industry’s impact on the manufacturing industry transfer but also provides valuable policy implications for optimizing the spatial distribution of manufacturing industry.
