Dynamics of landslides - mathematical framework
摘要
The paper addresses the modelling of landslides as a dynamic process, which may be triggered by seismic tremors for slopes subjected to gravity and water saturation. It makes a link between the geophysical approach, based on the assumptions of the pseudo-static framework, and mathematical model of a delamination fault preceding the landslide. The Wiener-Hopf approach enables us to trace the waves induced by the moving front of the delamination fault. The results provide the new insight into the dynamics of the initiation of landslides along water-saturated slopes.
