Komplikationsmanagement nach operativer Schulterstabilisierung
摘要
The use of surgical procedures for shoulder stabilization not only requires dedicated knowledge of indications and surgical techniques but also of the perioperative and postoperative complications that are not uncommon. Recurrent instability after previous surgery is a particularly severe complication. Successful treatment of this requires a precise analysis of the causes with appropriate diagnostics and consideration of patient-specific factors. An improvement in the rate of treatment failure is possible by a more differentiated surgical planning and taking these factors into consideration. The limits of the indications for the Bankart operation must be taken into account and particularly for revision cases glenoid augmentation, such as coracoid transfer according to Latarjet or free bone blocks must be considered to restabilize the shoulder.
