Trochleaplastik mit Vicryl-Fäden
摘要
High-grade trochlear dysplasia is the primary risk factor for patellofemoral instability and is frequently treated by trochleoplasty (trochlear osteotomy). In the thin-flap technique, which is widespread in German-speaking countries, the osteochondral flap formed is fixed and stabilized using Vicryl tape (Ethicon, Cornelia, GA, USA). Due to the discontinuation of the production of Vicryl tape, a modification of the original technique is required. The following surgical technique describes an alternative fixation method using absorbable suture pairs instead of the tape.
