Nachbehandlung nach knorpelregenerativen Eingriffen
摘要
Rehabilitation after cartilage regenerative surgery is crucial for the quality of the developing regenerating tissue and the clinical outcome; however, there is still a lack of good quality studies demonstrating this and the individual useful measures in the rehabilitation process. Many aspects of the proposed rehabilitation protocols are based on expert opinions, applied biomechanics and basic research. This article summarizes the current evidence and recommendations for rehabilitation after cartilage regenerative surgery and can provide a framework for optimal exercise selection and progression, expectations, patient motivation and necessary lifestyle adjustments and consideration of possible pain-driving factors. The article places particular emphasis on the time-based and criteria-based planning and management of follow-up treatment, taking the individual factors that influence healing into account.
