The immune cells located in the tissue and the factors released from the ECM and the cells play an important role.</p> Therapy <p>Through targeted active and passive mechanical loading, which is tailored to the initial state of the myofascial tissue, determined, e.g., by age and activity level, as well as disease and injury, an acute and chronic improvement in the regeneration of myofascial tissue can be induced. Therefore, mechanical stress adapted to the condition of the myofascial tissue should be part of the regeneration concept.</p>

Background
