Eizellqualität bei unterschiedlichen Stimulationsprotokollen: Sicht eines Embryologen
摘要
The quality of oocytes in in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment largely depends on the selection of an individually tailored stimulation protocol. A high number of oocytes does not necessarily guarantee high quality. The assessment of oocytes is primarily done through microscopic examination, evaluating features, such as the integrity of the zona pellucida and the cytoplasm. Despite technological innovations and advances in reproductive medicine, the pregnancy rate per embryo transfer has remained around 20–25% since the early days of IVF, highlighting the importance of careful, individualized treatment planning.
