Sportmedizinische Untersuchung
摘要
Many clubs, associations and schools require children and adolescents to submit a medical certificate of fitness for sports or competition, either once or annually. The aim of this certificate is to create an individual risk profile regarding life-threatening events, musculoskeletal overuse injuries or injuries resulting from physical activity. Structured questionnaires are used to gather personal, family and training/competition history. The physical examination is a complete body screening from a general pediatric perspective, focusing on cardiac and orthopedic assessments to detect age-related risks and to prevent overuse syndromes. In addition, instrumental diagnostic testing can be performed. Finally, the findings and resulting recommendations are explained to the children, adolescents and their legal guardians.
