摘要
A reduction in the hemoglobin content below the age-specific and sex-specific normal value is referred to as anemia. Anemia is one of the most frequent abnormal laboratory findings in medicine. There are many different causes. In addition to primary anemia, there are secondary forms that can be diagnostic indicators for other underlying diseases. Therefore, anemia should not be trivialized but requires clarification. Targeted anemia diagnostics are a basic tool for every doctor.
