Umgang mit einer chronischen Erkrankung im Kindes- und Jugendalter am Beispiel der Mukoviszidose
摘要
In cases of chronic physical disease, such as cystic fibrosis, in childhood and adolescence families are faced with many additional challenges. In addition to integrating a time-consuming, complex treatment regimen into the individual daily life of the family, the comprehensive disease management includes many other aspects, such as infection prevention, knowledge building as well as stress and emotion regulation. Coping with the disease requires continuous cognitive and emotional adjustment processes to the dynamic course of the disease. Interaction processes in the family system and development-related aspects of the child must also be considered. Promoting mental health and resilience is essential in care to prevent psychological stress. The article provides starting points and strategies for dealing with cystic fibrosis in a health-promoting way.
