<p>Implant-mediated electrical stimulation (ES) is a&#xa0;promising approach in the treatment of intestinal motility disorders. The preclinical application of a&#xa0;prototype implant was technically successful. A&#xa0;clear contraction in the ascending colon was detected in the video analysis synchronized with the electromyography after ES with 5 mA.</p>
