Die parastomale Hernie
摘要
Despite significant progress in the treatment of abdominal wall hernias, parastomal hernias continue to represent a complex problem. There is currently no consensus or guidelines for standardized care. In various meta-analyses, no significant differences in postoperative complications have been shown between the currently most commonly used mesh-based techniques (Sugarbaker, keyhole and sandwich techniques). The extent to which the robotic approach can bring an advantage cannot be assessed based on the currently available data. As the quality of life of stoma wearers correlates to a high degree with the good function of the stoma, a prophylactic mesh implantation should be used during the index operation.
