Leitfaden und Empfehlungen für die Hygiene in der Koloproktologie
摘要
Interventions in coloproctology place special demands on the hygiene measures before, during and after the operation due to the natural bacterial colonization of the affected regions. Even if the normal bacterial colonization of the anal region cannot be completely removed by disinfection measures, the risk for infections and complications shall be reduced to a minimum by following the appropriate recommendations and guidelines. When performing interventions in contaminated regions, in general the same rules apply as for other operations, whereby the principles of asepsis must be taken into consideration as far as possible. These guidelines on infection prevention in coloproctology provide important and useful recommendations for coloproctological practice in order to minimise the risk of infection during a proctological examination and treatment for practitioners, patients and medical personnel.
