Mobilisation and manipulation techniques can be found in both Western and Chinese medicine. It is worth taking a comparative look at these techniques and how they work. The article compares mobilising Tuina techniques with osteopathic techniques and uses the examples of the treatment of the sacroiliac joint, the hip and the knee to illustrate the findings.
