Behandlung der Polyneuropathie mit Akupunktur – Teil 1 – Theoretische Grundlagen und praktische Therapie
摘要
Peripheral neuropathies are always associated with structural damage to the peripheral nerves and, from the perspective of Chinese medicine, are associated with a deficiency of Yin, making the support of Yin sensible for all forms of polyneuropathy. Due to the deficiency of Yin, secondary depletions of spleen Qi (Qi lienale) and kidney Qi (Qi renale), the blockage of the channels by dampness and phlegm, and a tendency towards coldness with impaired capillary function arise, resulting in inadequate delivery of Qi and blood (Xue) to the extremities. This leads to sensations of numbness, flaccid paralysis, cold limbs, and swelling. For this, the combination of the point groups EX-LE12 (Qiduan), and EX-UE11 (Shixuan), EX-LE10 (Bafeng), EX-LE9 (Baxie), and the Rimica (Xi points) can be seen as a basic concept with broad effects. Therefore, this effective combination of points is frequently used in scientific studies (see Part 2 of this article). Other secondary consequences of Yin deficiency such as Yang deficiency, internal wind (Ventus internus), depletion heat (Calor depletiones), and blood stasis (Xue stasis) and the consecutive symptoms such as icy coldness, paresthesias, cramps, neuralgic pains, burning pains, and lividity require an adaptation of the treatment concept.
