Generalized traveling waves for time-heterogeneous prey–predator systems with the general functional response
摘要
The aim of this paper is to investigate the existence and nonexistence of generalized traveling waves for a prey–predator system in time-heterogeneous environments. More precisely, our results show that generalized traveling waves do exist as long as the wave speeds exceed a critical value in an average sense, while the waves do not exist when their speeds fall below this threshold. Our approach combines sub- and super-solutions with the principal eigenvalue.
