Forced vibrations of a FGM thin-walled cylinder under fluid loading
摘要
Forced low-frequency vibrations of a functionally graded thin-walled cylindrical shell submerged in a compressible fluid are investigated. The problem undergoes asymptotic analysis aimed at elucidating smallest resonances. The associated explicit estimates are derived, including the formulae for the imaginary quantities corresponding to the radiation of vibration energy. The robust approximate relations for stress and displacement components are also obtained. Numerical results are presented for two particular setups demonstrating the effect of transverse inhomogeneity on the dynamic behavior of the FGM cylinder.
