Jensen and Hosszú Meet in a Casino. A Case Study of Two Functional Inequalities in Gambling Theory

In this note, we collect some properties of solutions of the casino inequality of Dubins and Savage. We exploit its interplay with the Hosszú inequality and with convexity or nonconvexity.
