Dually Weighted Multi-matrix Models as a Path to Causal Gravity-Matter Systems

We introduce a dually-weighted multi-matrix model that for a suitable choice of weights reproduce two-dimensional Causal Dynamical Triangulations (CDT) coupled to the Ising model.
