摘要

Introduction

Cancer treatment underwent significant changes in the last few years with the introduction of novel treatments targeting the immune system.

Objectives

The objective of this review is to discuss novel anticancer drugs including kinase inhibitors, biologics and cellular therapy with CAR-T cells.

Methods

Most recent research articles were extracted from PubMed using keywords such as “kinases inhibitors”, “CAR-T cell therapy”.

Results and discussion

The number of kinase inhibitors is significantly increasing due to their demonstrated effectiveness in combination with biologics. CAR-T represented a major breakthrough in the field. Also, it focused on their mechanisms of action and the rational of their use either alone or in combination in relation to their modes of action.
