<p>We characterize the iterative roots of a class of noninjective functions using a theorem by Bašić and Hačko originally established for injective functions. It is demonstrated that a certain class of non-decreasing functions on an interval with finitely many discontinuities admit iterative roots of all orders.</p>

摘要

We characterize the iterative roots of a class of noninjective functions using a theorem by Bašić and Hačko originally established for injective functions. It is demonstrated that a certain class of non-decreasing functions on an interval with finitely many discontinuities admit iterative roots of all orders.
