<p>We are dealing with modules of cotorsion pairs over commutative rings, especially when they are <InlineEquation ID="IEq3"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\({\Sigma }\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <mi mathvariant="normal">Σ</mi> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-modules, i.e. their infinite direct sums also belong to the same class. We prove a few results about their structures and their direct decompositions. As an example, cotorsion pairs generated by finitely generated modules are briefly discussed.</p>

We are dealing with modules of cotorsion pairs over commutative rings, especially when they are \({\Sigma }\) Σ -modules, i.e. their infinite direct sums also belong to the same class. We prove a few results about their structures and their direct decompositions. As an example, cotorsion pairs generated by finitely generated modules are briefly discussed.
