<p>In this paper, we investigate the existence of positive periodic solutions for a class of functional differential systems to which the fixed point theorem in cones cannot be directly applied. By means of appropriate substitution, we construct the operator whose fixed point is the periodic solution of the new differential system, and provide the conditions that guarantee the existence of at least one positive periodic solution of the original problem. Several examples are presented to illustrate our results.</p>
