Commutator Bounds via Singular Values with Applications to the Numerical Radius

This paper presents some unitarily invariant norm inequalities for commutators and anticommutators of matrices. The obtained results generalize many celebrated results in the literature. Of particular interest, we show further bounds for the usual operator norm, with direct applications to numerical radius bounds. Moreover, we will investigate the class of normal matrices in this direction and obtain further improvements for this class.
