<p>In this study, the spatial structures of the residential buildings developed in modernism in Isparta province are examined. The researchers used Space Syntax analysis to measure depth and visibility, evaluating the relationship between these measurements and levels of visual privacy. The researchers selected 10 residences in Isparta that were built between 1950 and 1980. They used the Space Syntax to analyze visual privacy within the spatial configuration of the residences. The results showed that the settlement patterns of Isparta residences tended to become less integrated during the modernist period. This decline in spatial integration corresponded to increased segregation, which allowed for improved visual privacy. The smaller scale and fewer spaces in modern residences, as opposed to the multi-space residences in a traditional residence, suggest that visual privacy could be achieved efficiently.</p>
